Job Summary
Our team in Space and Defense Group is seeking an Assembly & Test (A&T) Technician III to join our team in Niagara Falls, NY. This is a full-time, 2nd shift position.

Responsibilities
- Perform water flow testing, pressure testing, leak checks, electrical testing, and flushing/cleanliness checks
- Cable assembly, harnessing, crimping, soldering, welding, and connector installation
- Portable instrument troubleshooting and repair
- Operation of gages, transducers, flow meters, force systems, data acquisition systems, mechanical measuring equipment, torque wrenches, etc.
- Read mechanical drawings and work to controlled documentation
- Knowledge of mechanical/electro-mechanical and electronic component/circuit fabrication and repair techniques
- Knowledge of the characteristics, properties, uses and safe handling of electricity, chemicals, gases and cryogenic fluids
- General knowledge of the operation, maintenance, and calibration of test equipment
- Perform duties in a shop and laboratory environment
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- May be exposed to mechanical, electrical, or chemical processes requiring use of protective eyewear and PPE
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English
- Demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
Qualifications
- Knowledge of mechanical/electro-mechanical and electronic component/circuits fabrication and repair techniques
- General knowledge of the operation, maintenance, and calibration of test equipment
- Knowledge of the characteristics, properties, uses and safe handling of electricity, chemicals, gases and cryogenic fluids
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and work to controlled documentation
- Occasional lifting and moving up to 50 pounds
- Exposure to mechanical, electrical, or chemical processes requiring use of protective eyewear and PPE
