A&T Technician II - 3rd Shift

About the role

The A&T Technician II position within the Commercial Aircraft Group at Moog is available for a 3rd shift, onsite role in East Aurora, New York. Reporting to the Process Manager, this role requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly activities using various mechanical and electronic measurement equipment and specialized fixtures, tooling, gauging, and torque mechanisms to meet build requirements.
• Test operations involving setup and performance of operational tests on finished products on high precision test stands using hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment, fixtures, and tools to achieve desired performance results.
• Diagnose test failures and assess hardware condition to provide recommended rework instructions and configuration changes.
• Support overall operations by performing daily administrative tasks.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED is preferred, or demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions or training in English.
• Demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Enrollment and participation in the company’s “F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program” is required due to the nature of the work.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of related experience in a technical field.

Skills

• Understanding of FAA regulations and safety-sensitive work requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and parts lists.
• Proficiency in using a variety of mechanical and electronic measurement equipment and specialized fixtures.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment and tools.
• Ability to diagnose and assess hardware conditions.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.

Pay

Buffalo, NY: $28.00–$32.00 hourly
