About the role

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) supports adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities by helping them maintain their daily routines and ensuring they are comfortable and healthy.

Responsibilities

• Supporting with household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, teeth brushing, and other personal care activities.
• Aiding in attending medical appointments, banking, and community activities.
• Administering medications as per the Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans, and medical guidelines.
• Evacuating individuals from the home during emergencies.
• Maintaining certifications and following agency policies and DDS regulations.

Requirements

• A high school degree or GED.
• A valid driver's license, daily use of a car on site (preferred but not required).
• Able to provide reliable transportation and have a valid driving license.
• Aged 21+.

Payroll Information

Sign on Bonus: $500 for full-time employees, $100 at 6 weeks and $100 at 90 days, and $300 at 6 months.
