2nd shift Customer Logistics Manager
About the role
We are immediately hiring a 2nd shift Customer Logistics Manager in Brownstown, MI for our Supply Chain Solutions division. The CLM (Driver Manager) is responsible for overseeing daily driver operations to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time delivery of customer freight. This role serves as the primary point of contact for drivers, balancing operational performance with driver satisfaction while meeting customer logistics requirements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily driver operations to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time delivery of customer freight.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, balancing operational performance with driver satisfaction while meeting customer logistics requirements.
- Perform administrative duties such as staffing performance management and development of exempt and non-exempt employees.
- Manage day-to-day planning and scheduling, health and safety management, state/local/federal regulations compliance, and off-shift support in the event of critical customer network disruptions or crises.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Monitor Hours of Service (HOS), driver logs, and vehicle inspections.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- H.S. diploma/GED required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred
- Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required
- One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required
- Advanced knowledge of Logistics industry, Customer/Company local and Federal regulations, and Supply Chain Management components

Pay
Annual Salary Pay: $68,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year based on experience
Schedule
2nd shift: Monday-Friday 2:00 pm- 11:00 pm
