About the role
This position is with our Adhesive Technologies business unit – where we empower our people to transform industries and provide our customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants and functional coatings.
Responsibilities
- Captures and coordinates the transport planning process to ensure delivery of goods on-time
- Closely coordinates with the transport planner and ensures availability of carriers
- Collaborates with carriers, customers, and Customer Service to plan deliveries not scheduled, i.e., rush orders
- Reviews and proposes improvements on transport planning scope
- Manages customer-specific processes: labeling, verification of lot numbers, tagging, etc.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- An associate's or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics, transportation coordination, shipping, or supply chain operations preferred
- Proficiency with SAP, transportation management systems (TMS), and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook, preferred
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across carriers, warehouses, customer service, and internal stakeholders
- Experience managing transportation schedules, freight exceptions, and carrier relationships in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Available to work 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 3:15 PM to 11:45 PM and rotational on-call Saturday
Skills
- Proficiency with SAP, transportation management systems (TMS), and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience managing transportation schedules, freight exceptions, and carrier relationships in a fast-paced environment

Pay
The hourly pay range for this role is $24.47.
Schedule
This role is classified as non-exempt, and employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. In addition to the hourly wage, employees in this position may be eligible for shift differentials, premium pay, bonuses, or other forms of compensation, depending on role and location.
