The San Juan Unified School District is seeking a single candidate for a permanent full-time position.

This position is located at Dyer Kelly and is open for applications. The position is available for internal employees only for placement on Column 5; external candidates can be placed on Column 4/Step 11.

Responsibilities

• Manage student behavior and provide support to students and staff.
• Develop and implement educational programs and activities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required.

Requirements

• Valid California teaching credential.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or related field.
• Experience in special education or counseling.

Skills

Pay

The salary range for this position is $60,000 annually - $126,000/annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

The length of the work year for teachers (Elementary / Secondary), middle school, and K-8 counselors/teacher librarians is 10 months/year, 186 days/year, 5 days/week, with a professional work day.
