The San Juan Unified School District is seeking a single candidate for a Full Time position.
About the role
This position is located at Dyer Kelly and is permanent. Candidates must be internal employees to be placed on Column 5; for external candidates, Column 4 is the maximum incoming placement.
Responsibilities
- Manage student behavior and maintain a safe learning environment
- Implement curriculum and instructional strategies aligned with district standards
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement effective instruction
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills
Requirements
- Valid California teaching credential
- Experience working with students in a K-8 setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Advanced degree eligible for additional stipend
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in technology tools for education
