The San Juan Unified School District is seeking a full-time teacher for Whitney Elementary School.

Responsibilities
- Teach core academic subjects to students in grades [specify grade range]

Requirements
- Valid California teaching credential

- Annual stipends for hard-to-staff Special Education positions: $5,000 - $14,000
- Annual stipends for hard-to-staff counselor, social worker, and teacher librarian positions: $2,000
- Annual stipend for advanced degrees: $3,000
- Annual stipends for various extra-curricular activities: $1,000 - $4,500
Pay
The salary schedule for fully credentialed staff is $60,000 - $126,000 annually. Candidates must be internal employees to be placed on Column 5; for external candidates, Column 4 is the maximum incoming placement.
Schedule
The length of the work year for teachers (Elementary/Secondary), middle school, and K-8 counselor/teacher librarian is a calendar 2 (10 months/year, 186 days/year, 5 days/week, professional work day).
