The San Juan Unified School District is seeking a single candidate for a full-time position.
About the role
As a member of the educational team, this individual will contribute to the success of students and staff. The position offers various opportunities for additional pay, including stipends for hard-to-staff special education positions, counselors, social workers, and teacher librarians. Additionally, there is a $3,000 annual stipend for advanced degrees and $1,000 - $4,500 annual stipends for various extra-curricular activities.
Responsibilities
- Teach and support students in the classroom

Requirements
- Valid California teaching credential

Pay
The salary range for fully credentialed staff is $60,000 annually - $126,000/annually. Candidates must be internal employees to be placed on Column 5; for external candidates, Column 4/Step 11 is the maximum incoming placement.
Schedule
The length of the work year for teachers (Elementary / Secondary), middle school, and K-8 counselor/teacher librarian is 10 months/year, 186 days/year, 5 days/week, with a professional work day.
