Extensive Support Needs credential needed in Special Day Classes for students with Autism. Positions available at middle schools, high schools, and Ralph Richardson Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs.
• Implement lesson plans and educational strategies tailored to student learning needs.
• Collaborate with other special education teachers, therapists, and administrators to develop and implement effective educational programs.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Valid California Teaching Credential, preferably in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with autism and other special needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Master’s degree in Special Education preferred.
• Experience working with students with autism and other special needs.
• Valid California Teaching Credential, preferably in Special Education.
