The San Juan Unified School District is seeking a part-time (0.2 FTE) teacher at Churchill. This position is open until filled and applications are accepted weekly.

About the role

This position is open to internal employees only for placement on Column 5. External candidates can be placed on Column 4, which is the maximum incoming placement for this position.

Responsibilities

• Teach subjects as assigned
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials
• Assess student progress and provide feedback
• Participate in professional development activities
• Maintain classroom discipline and safety
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff

Requirements

• Valid California teaching credential
• Experience teaching in a K-8 setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or related field
• Advanced degree in relevant field (up to $3,000 annual stipend)
