About the role
The role involves providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support enabling rapid incident/event resolution. This includes constant, centralized monitoring, technical troubleshooting, remote resolution, and incident management to ensure the availability and accessibility of production systems. Coordination and direction of vendor support for escalated issues are also part of the responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Supports Unix servers and interface database servers.
- First responder to system alarms/errors.
- Performs support via constant, centralized monitoring.
- Engages in technical troubleshooting and remote resolution.
- Coordinates and directs vendor support for incidents beyond Tier 2 expertise.
- Maintains availability and accessibility of production systems.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications
- IAT Level II (Security+) certification required.
