About the role
S&ME’s 2027 Spark Summer Internship Program offers rising juniors, seniors, and graduate students hands-on experience in Civil, Environmental, Construction, Geotechnical, and Transportation Design-Build. Interns work alongside experienced professional and technical employee-owners, participate in a cohort-based learning experience, and receive professional development to support the transition from campus to career.

Qualifications
- Enrolled in a related degree program
- Rising junior, senior, or graduate student preferred
- Related experience and/or campus, community, or work-related leadership experience preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for technical roles
- Routine lifting of 40 to 50 lbs may be required
- Out-of-town travel may be required

Pay
Competitive pay based on experience for a twelve-week internship from May 2027 through August 2027.
