2027 Spark Summer Intern - Civil/Environmental/Construction/Geotechnical Engineering

About the role

S&ME’s 2027 Spark Summer Internship Program is open to current students interested in Civil, Environmental, Construction, Geotechnical, and Transportation Design-Build fields. As an intern, you will work alongside experienced professional and technical employee-owners within your area of interest, participate in an intern cohort, and gain exposure to all aspects of S&ME. The program offers hands-on experience, access to technical experts across the company, and professional development to help transition from campus to career.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced professional and technical employee-owners in your area of interest
• Participate in an intern cohort and learn about all aspects of S&ME
• Gain hands-on experience and access to technical experts across the company
• Engage in professional development activities to support your transition from campus to career

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a related degree program
• Rising Juniors, Seniors, or Graduate students preferred
• Related experience and/or campus, community, or work-related leadership experience preferred
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to travel out of town if required
• For technical roles, ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Routine lifting may be required (40 to 50 lbs)
