Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities
- Aid in reviewing equipment and procurement packages for compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Track and document product-related issues from various stakeholders and escalate to supervisors as necessary.
- Prepare scope of work documents, coordinate matrices, and bid response forms for vendor bid packages.
- Support reviews of project submittals and shop drawings to identify discrepancies against contract specifications.
- Visit project sites to observe quality and placement of products.
- Visit manufacturers' factories to witness tests and gather insights on product development and specifications.
- Contribute to supply chain heat mapping, vendor database management, resiliency systems, equipment tracking, and other duties to support business products and services.
- Perform data entry to update and maintain master procurement data, such as pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain and develop project documentation, including equipment tracking logs, project budget reports, cost reports, RFI documents, change order and close-out logs.
- Assist with reviews of change orders, preparing independent analyses, estimates, and approvals, and submitting to SourceBlue Manager for approval.
- Participate in vendor prequalification processes as needed.
- Assist with the closeout process, preparing final records for projects, evaluating information for compliance with contract documents, and participating in the preparation of O&M manuals and inventory.
- Perform other duties, responsibilities, and assignments as assigned.
Qualifications
- In pursuit of college or university degree (Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree) from an accredited degree program in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Supply Chain experience and/or internship/co-op experience in the construction industry preferred.
- General knowledge of Supply Chain operations and construction products (e.g., Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical).
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and efficient use of work hours.
- Passionate and willing to learn about the company, business operations, culture, and core values.
- Proactive and eager to tackle new projects and ideas, flexible, and adaptable to work assignments.
- Able to work independently with management oversight and in a team environment.
- Active listening skills with professional and clear verbal and written communication.
- Limited travel as needed.
Physical Demands
- Frequent use of a computer monitor and computer keyboard.
- Close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands, talk, and hear.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Occasionally perform work on-site at construction work sites, office locations, and/or off-site venues.
Work Environment
- Office or remote setting.
- May work in an office or remote setting with occasional visits to construction work sites.
- May be exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes, or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock.
- Must comply with company safety policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
