Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities

  • Aid in reviewing equipment and procurement packages for compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Track and document product-related issues from various stakeholders and escalate to supervisors as necessary.
  • Prepare scope of work documents, coordinate matrices, and bid response forms for vendor packages.
  • Support reviews of project submittals and shop drawings to identify discrepancies with contract specifications.
  • Visit project sites to observe quality and placement of products.
  • Visit manufacturers' factories to observe Factory Witness Tests and gather information on product development and specifications.
  • Contribute to supply chain heat mapping, vendor databases, resiliency systems, equipment tracking, and other duties to support business products and services.
  • Perform data entry to update and maintain master procurement data (e.g., pricing, contracts, delivery schedules).
  • Follow standardized processes for developing and maintaining project documentation (e.g., equipment tracking log, project budget reports, cost reports, RFI documents, change order and close out logs).
  • Assist with reviews of change orders, including preparing independent analyses, estimating vendor requests, obtaining approvals, resolving conflicts, and submitting to SourceBlue Manager for approval.
  • Participate in vendor prequalification processes as needed.
  • Assist with the closeout process and prepare final records for projects (e.g., RFI documents, closeout records, warranties, as-built documents, spare parts, O&M manuals, inventory).
  • Perform other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • In pursuit of college or university degree (Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree) from an accredited degree program in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or have minimum of 2 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Supply Chain experience and/or internship/co-op experience in the construction industry is preferred.
  • General knowledge of Supply Chain operations and construction products (e.g., Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical) is desired.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to document and manage accurate and timely information.
  • Efficient use of work hours with the ability to ask questions, request prioritization of responsibilities, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Passionate and willing to learn about the company, its business operations, culture, and core values.
  • Proactive and eager to tackle new projects and ideas, flexible and adaptable to work assignments.
  • Able to work independently with management oversight and in a team environment.
  • Apply active listening skills with professional and clear verbal and written communication.
  • Limited travel as needed.
