About the role
The role involves providing specialized instruction and support to students with special educational needs in a school-based setting. The incumbent will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students with special educational needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid teaching license in Special Education
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Experience with data collection and analysis
- Proficiency in using assistive technology
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Pay
The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 annually.
