About the role

Responsibilities

• Support students with special needs in the classroom setting.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide direct instruction and support to students based on their unique learning needs.
• Assist in the development and implementation of school-based programs and services for students with disabilities.

Requirements

• Current teaching license/credential.
• Post-secondary educational transcript.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with special needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Skills

• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in using assistive technology and accommodations.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Pay
