About the role
The Special Education Instructional Facilitator (SEIF) is responsible for supporting special education teachers in implementing effective instructional strategies and interventions. This role requires a deep understanding of special education principles and practices.
Responsibilities
- Supports teachers in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborates with special education teachers to provide professional development opportunities.
- Evaluates student progress and provides feedback to teachers and parents.
- Assists in the development and implementation of differentiated instruction strategies.
- Maintains accurate records and documentation related to special education services.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid teaching license from the Nevada Department of Education.
- Experience working with students with disabilities.
- Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and regulations.
Qualifications
