About the role

The Instructional Services department is seeking an experienced Special Education Instructional Facilitator to support students in grades K-12 at RIES, ALDEANE COMITO ES. This role involves collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers and families to develop and implement IEPs for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in the classroom setting.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of special education best practices.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• A valid teaching license in Special Education.
• At least two years of experience working with students with disabilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and regulations.
• Experience with data-driven decision making and assessment tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

Schedule
