About the role

The Special Education Instructional Facilitator (SEIF) is responsible for supporting teachers in implementing effective instructional strategies and interventions for students with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Supports teachers in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provides professional development opportunities for teachers on special education best practices.
• Collaborates with other special education staff to ensure seamless support for students.
• Mentors new and experienced teachers in special education settings.

Requirements

• Valid Nevada teaching license/certification in special education.
• Bachelor's degree in special education or related field.
• At least two years of relevant teaching experience in special education.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and regulations.

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
