About the role

Responsibilities

• Support students with special needs in the classroom setting.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Assist in the development and implementation of instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Provide professional development opportunities for other staff members.

Requirements

• Valid teaching license/credential.
• Post-secondary educational transcript.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with special needs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Knowledge of special education best practices.
• Proficiency in using technology to support student learning.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Pay

Salary range: $55,000 - $65,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday.
