Troubleshooting and Repair

Manage the completion of various electrical tasks such as electrical break & repair, troubleshooting/maintenance, and service upgrades.

Provide exceptional customer service by treating customers with the utmost respect and attention.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose residential electrical problems accurately and efficiently.
• Perform repairs consistent with and exceeding National Electrical Code standards.
• Increase customer loyalty by maintaining a clean working area.
• Educate and offer the customer appropriate upgrades that you can complete immediately or at the scheduled time.
• Accurately estimate and invoice repairs and projects.
• Document work completed with before and after photos.
• Demonstrate safe working practices and methods.
• Effectively communicate with all internal and external customers.
• Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts, and installation teams.
• Keep your company truck clean, inside and out.
• Keep your truck inventory up to date.
• Properly complete paperwork.
• Join the on-call rotation.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Have and maintain a clean driving record.
• Participate in training allowing you to grow and develop as a professional.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of residential Electrical Service background.
• Must have an Electrical license.
• Exceptional technician, intuitive, hardworking, fast, efficient, no problem wearing a uniform, willing to learn our system, can keep a truck well organized - 'what next' attitude!
• Possess the necessary tools, knowledge & drive to exceed industry standards.
• Can climb in and out of box trucks and vans, able to lift over 75 lbs, and work in tough environments like the summer heat & winter cold.
