Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide community outreach and education to increase awareness of youth substance use, including signs, screening tools, and available resources.
- Conduct presentations and training sessions for schools, community groups, and service organizations.
- Support the development and implementation of evidence-based, developmentally appropriate prevention and treatment services for youth and their families.
- Collaborate with internal programs, schools, healthcare providers, and community partners to ensure coordinated care and referrals.
- Participate in community coalitions and task forces related to youth behavioral health and substance use prevention.
- Maintain documentation, reports, and data related to program activities and outcomes.
- Provide both direct and indirect support services to youth and families as appropriate.
- Adhere to all Pathways policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Education And Experience
- A High School Diploma
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with youth or young adults in a human services, behavioral health, or substance use setting preferred.
- Peer Support Specialist certification preferred.
Skills And Knowledge
- Knowledge of youth development, substance use prevention, and mental health services.
- Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to build relationships with schools, families, and community partners.
- Organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and travel within the service area as needed.
