Basic Tasks and Duties

The following are examples of work performed in the position allocated to the job class. No attempt is made to be exhaustive; related, similar or other logical duties are performed as assigned.

• Prepares and maintains files, documentation, legal documents and various reports
• Provide education about drug laws, effects of drugs, and history of drug use to adolescent drug offenders
• Provide information about a wide variety of drug related topics to the community
• Collect urine specimens and interpret urinalysis results
• Consult and have frequent conferences with other Court personnel and outside agencies about drug-related matter
• Provide group, individual and family counseling to clients enrolled in drug court
• Keep informed of current research regarding effects of drugs and drug treatment
• Establish and maintain relationships with treatment facilities
• Provide out-patient follow-up to client discharge from in-patient treatment unit

Starting Salary $64,508
