Youth Support Worker

What You'll Do

• Child Care & Support
• Provide direct care and support to up to five residents.
• Supervise children and maintain a safe, structured environment.
• Aid in meal preparation and daily activities.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and activities.
• Build positive relationships with children through patience and understanding.
• Treatment & Team Collaboration
• Aid in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with team members to provide consistent therapeutic care.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities.
• Support child development, behavior management, and therapeutic strategies.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain accurate and complete resident records.
• Complete progress notes and incident reports.
• Communicate important updates with the treatment team.
• Follow program policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience
• One of the following is required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Psychology with one year of direct care experience working with youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting.
• High school diploma with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
• Additional Requirements
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past six months.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to successfully complete: Physical screening, Drug screening, Criminal Record History Clearance, FBI Clearance, Child Abuse History Clearance, and Safety Crisis Management (SCM) Certification.

Part-Time Weekend Shifts Available: Friday – Monday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
