Youth Ministry and Confirmation Director

About the role

SRB is seeking a full-time HS Youth Ministry/Confirmation Coordinator. We are looking for a team player passionate about the faith and youth ministry with experience working with large groups of teens and catechists, knowledge of catechetical studies/theology, and administrative tasks. The position requires 30‑40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Reach youth, equip parents, and develop volunteers.
• Provide strong leadership, written and oral communication, and interpersonal engagement.
• Work effectively in a highly relational team environment.
• Be decisive, responsive, and adaptable to change in a fast‑paced setting.
• Embrace challenges and adapt quickly to new ideas.
• Bring new ideas to ministry and add value to existing programs.
• Plan short‑ and long‑term ministry activities while organizing workload.
• Be proactive in seeking solutions.
• Ensure compliance with parish staff handbook, archdiocesan, and Church policies.

Requirements

• Practicing Roman Catholic.
• 3‑5 years of youth ministry experience.
• Engaging leadership and presentation skills.
• Undergraduate degree.

Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Canva, MailChimp, event registration software, database management; Adobe Creative Suite desirable.
• Knowledge of routine office procedures and business etiquette.
• Strong leadership, written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan short‑ and long‑term initiatives and organize workload.
• Proactive problem‑solving and adaptability to change.
