About the role
The Youth Mentor Program Assistant is responsible for providing support to the mentor program, assisting in the recruitment and training of mentors, and managing the program’s administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Support the mentor program by coordinating activities and ensuring smooth operations.
- Aid in the recruitment and screening of potential mentors.
- Organize and facilitate mentor training sessions.
- Manage program records and ensure accurate documentation.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling and correspondence.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar administrative role preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of mentoring programs and youth development.
