Essential Job Functions
- Affords support to the daily operation, coordination, and implementation of year-round Workforce Training youth programs and initiatives.
- Supports instructors and program staff by preparing classrooms and instructional spaces, coordinating daily activities, supervising participants during instructional sessions and program events, and helping ensure a safe, organized, and engaging learning environment.
- Provides instructional support by distributing, collecting, organizing, and maintaining program materials, supplies, equipment, and instructional resources.
- Works individually and with small groups of students to reinforce concepts, develop skills, and encourage active participation.
- Operates and maintains equipment used in youth programs and reports maintenance or supply needs as appropriate.
- Performs administrative support functions, including coordinating participant check-in and check-out, maintaining attendance and program records, assisting with participant registration, and supporting accommodations for students with special needs.
- Affords support to student recruitment, marketing efforts, community outreach, and special events to increase awareness and participation in Workforce Training youth programs.
- Contributes ideas for new program offerings and continuous program improvement while performing other related duties as assigned in support of the Workforce Training Division.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Higher
- Minimum of two years’ experience working with youth
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in K12 setting, Previous involvement with youth camps/programs

- Leadership & Supervisory: Provides day-to-day leadership, direction, and supervision of work-study students and volunteers supporting Workforce Training youth programs, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring the effective delivery of program activities and exceptional participant service.
