The Youth & Adolescent Clinical Therapist role offers the opportunity to provide virtual behavioral health support to children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. The therapist will deliver evidence-based treatment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary clinical team.
Accountabilities
- Provide high-quality virtual behavioral therapy services while supporting the emotional and developmental needs of children, teens, young adults, and their families.
- Deliver 100% telehealth therapy sessions for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families.
- Conduct assessments, provide counseling, and regularly adjust treatment plans based on client progress and evolving needs.
- Apply evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), across virtual care settings.
- Support clients experiencing challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and other behavioral health concerns.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records in accordance with established policies and professional standards.
- Collaborate with psychologists, counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and other clinical professionals to provide coordinated care.
- Partner with clinical leadership to improve therapeutic approaches, workflows, and overall client experience.
Requirements
- Licensed mental health professional with experience providing therapy to youth populations and families.
- Strong communication skills, clinical expertise, and comfort with virtual care delivery.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy to children aged 4+ and their families.
- Strong experience delivering effective CBT-based therapy through telehealth.
- Demonstrated ability to treat pediatric behavioral health conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and related challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team.
- Strong documentation, organization, and case management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with children, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Self-motivated, compassionate, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Availability for after-school and weekend appointments is considered a plus.
- Spanish bilingual skills are considered an advantage.
