About the role

Responsibilities
- Evaluating residents’ conditions and developing personalized rehabilitation plans
- Relieving pain through exercises, hands-on therapy, and stretching
- Assisting residents with tasks and monitoring their progress
- Supervising physical therapy assistants’ activities
- Maintaining resident confidentiality and fostering a collaborative healthcare environment
- Ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
- Current New York State PT License or actively working toward licensure
- Experience in skilled nursing or geriatrics preferred; new graduates with relevant fieldwork encouraged to apply
