Yard Supervisor

About the role

The Recycling Yard Supervisor reports directly to the Recycling Operations Manager at Pratt Industries USA, located in Staten Island, NY. This position offers a competitive salary range of $65k-$70k, with potential for incentive pay up to 20% above base salary.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient transfer of material within the recycling complex
• All truck unloading activities
• Quality control and inventory management
• Proficient in working in a fast-paced environment
• May require maintaining a current Lift Truck Operator License and/or other appropriate certifications

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous supervisory experience
• Ability to work nights and flexible days
• Prioritization of applicants with operator experience, mobile equipment licenses, and equipment maintenance experience
