What You'll Do
- Supervise yard employees in daily activities, including loading, staging, and material handling
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including proper PPE and equipment use
- Oversee inventory accuracy and maintain organized storage areas
- Cook up with dispatch and production to ensure on-time delivery of products
- Maintain documentation of yard operations, shipments, and inventory movements
- Assist with process improvements to increase yard safety and productivity
What You'll Need
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of material handling equipment and safe yard operations
- Able to organize, prioritize, and adapt to changing demands
- Attention to detail with strong recordkeeping abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with inventory or ERP systems preferred
Your Education
- A High School Diploma or GED is required
