Yard Supervisor

About the role

The Yard Supervisor at Copart is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility yard, supporting the yard staff, and ensuring an exceptional customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete Daily/Weekly/Monthly Audits
• Daily Scheduling with Employee Time and Attendance
• Aid in Security/Loss Prevention
• Maintain Productivity
• Maintain Clean Work Environment
• Enforce Safety Awareness
• Handle Employee/Customer Service Issues
• Maintain Supply Inventory and Purchase Supplies
• Enforce Company Policy and Procedure
• Travel as Needed
• Maintain Confidential Information/Documentation
• Work on Mechanical Issues Present on Lots
• Fleet Management and Preventive Maintenance
• Monitor and Maintain Yard Fence
• Facilitate Facility and Yard Maintenance
• Answer Alarm Calls as Needed

Requirements

• 1+ Years of Supervisory or Equivalent Experience
• High School Diploma, Some College or More Preferred
• Basic Knowledge of Automotive Mechanics
• Excellent Customer Service Skills and Attitude
• Computer Proficiency (MS Suite Experience)
• Fast-Paced Environment Experience
• Team Leadership and Training Skills
• Effective Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)
• Independent or Team Environment Ability
• Fluency in Reading/Writing English
• Customer Service Coaching and Mentoring Skills
• Color Differentiation Skills
• Inventory Management Skills
• Bilingual Skills (Spanish & English)
• Valid Driver's License

Pay

$30.06 - $33.86 per hour
