Yard Foreman

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as forklifts and material handlers, and train others to do the same.
• Organize and optimize material storage systems to maintain an efficient and orderly yard.
• Assist customers with a friendly attitude, ensuring their needs are met.
• Supervise and lead the yard crew, setting clear direction and maintaining high work standards.
• Use operations software to track inventory, process customer payments, and manage material flow.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• General computer skills (specific software training provided).
• Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to getting things done.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform diverse tasks.

Schedule

Four days a week: Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, and Saturdays from 8 am to 2 pm. Sundays and one weekday off for work-life balance.
