About the role
As a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with AFC, you’ll perform diagnostic radiographic procedures while also flexing into Medical Assistant clinical duties—such as triage, labs, and point-of-care testing—when not performing imaging. This role combines patient-centered radiology with hands-on clinical work in a team-focused urgent care setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures safely and accurately
- Prepare and position patients with professionalism and compassion
- Maintain equipment and follow radiation safety standards
- Assist with MA clinical duties, including triage, labs, and POC testing
- Collaborate with providers and staff to deliver exceptional patient care
- Keep accurate records and documentation
Requirements
- ARRT-certified in good standing
- Strong patient care and customer service skills
- Critical thinking and ability to thrive independently
- Physically able to perform essential duties
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
