About the role
Perform diagnostic radiology procedures and assist with Medical Assistant duties in a healthcare urgent care setting.
Responsibilities
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment, develop films, and prepare exam rooms with necessary supplies.
- Greet patients, communicate wait times, and provide directions through the treatment process.
- Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical history, medications, and allergies.
- Assist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision.
- Ensure equipment functionality, perform quality control, and adhere to safety protocols.
- Follow documentation procedures and maintain current licensure and certifications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- BLS certification.
- AR State X-Ray License.
- ARRT certification preferred.
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is advantageous.
Schedule
Full-time staff work rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends. PRN roles are scheduled as needed.
