X-Ray Technologist

Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Required to work two weekends per month as part of a rotating schedule.
About the role
Under the direct supervision of a Physician, the X-Ray Technologist will operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. This individual will accurately position radiologic equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance following established radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety.
Responsibilities
- Performs detailed radiographic examinations.
- Establishes personal rapport with patients.
- Provides explanations of procedures.
- Understands and is able to follow MD protocols for procedures.
- Effectively operates all pieces of equipment utilized within the scope of this job.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited School of Radiology Technology.
- Current New Jersey Radiology license – required.
- Current BLS Certification – required.
- 2+ years of experience as a Radiology Technologist – required.
- Previous experience in women's health or reproductive endocrinology and infertility – preferred.
Skills
- Competency in operating C-arm equipment.
- Proficient in computer programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
