WWTP Lab Supervisor
This position is with the City of Pueblo.
About the role
As the Wastewater Treatment Plant Laboratory Supervisor, you will manage the laboratory, perform lab tests for compliance and environmental research, generate reports for compliance, and provide consultation and advice regarding sampling and analyses to the Wastewater Treatment Plant Superintendent.
You will also assign and schedule duties of analysts, provide staff training, maintain a working knowledge of chemical and bacteriological examinations of water and the federal Clean Water Act, and maintain effective communication between the laboratory staff and Operations Division.
Responsibilities
- Manage the laboratory operations
- Perform lab tests for compliance and environmental research
- Generate reports for regulatory compliance
- Provide consultation and advice on sampling and analyses to the Wastewater Treatment Plant Superintendent
- Assign and schedule duties of laboratory analysts
- Provide training to laboratory staff
- Maintain working knowledge of chemical and bacteriological examinations of water and the federal Clean Water Act
- Ensure effective communication between laboratory staff and the Operations Division
Pay
Annual salary range: \$96,215.28 - \$117,581.04.
