WWTP Lab Supervisor

Wastewater Treatment Plant Laboratory Supervisor position with the City of Pueblo.

About the role

Manage the laboratory, perform compliance and environmental research tests, generate regulatory reports, and provide sampling and analysis consultation to the Wastewater Treatment Plant Superintendent. Assign and schedule analyst duties, train staff, maintain expertise in chemical and bacteriological water examinations and the federal Clean Water Act, and ensure effective communication between laboratory staff and the Operations Division.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations and staff.
• Conduct laboratory tests for compliance and environmental research.
• Generate and submit reports to meet regulatory requirements.
• Provide consultation and advice on sampling and analyses to plant leadership.
• Assign and schedule duties for laboratory analysts.
• Train laboratory staff on procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain working knowledge of chemical and bacteriological water examinations and the federal Clean Water Act.
• Facilitate effective communication between laboratory staff and the Operations Division.

Pay

$96,215.28 – $117,581.04 annually.
