About the Role

Skilled Wound Care is a nationwide mobile surgical practice focused on skin, wound, and ostomy patient issues in nursing home settings. Since 2007, we have been innovating mobile medicine delivery in nursing facilities. This role offers the opportunity to specialize in a hands-on, bedside procedure-oriented practice, becoming an expert in wound care and advancing your subspecialty.

We provide mentoring, professional guidance, covered advanced wound care and surgical training, and onboarding. This position allows you to work in long-term care facilities, delivering exceptional wound care and unparalleled bedside procedures to patients in nursing homes.

Schedule

• Choose your own schedule
• 4-5 day work-weeks
• No nights, no weekends, no holidays
• Minimum of two full weekdays required; full-time Monday through Friday physicians receive priority consideration

Pay

Earn over $250,000 per year as an independent contractor under a fee-for-service pay model.

• Active medical license
• No residency completion or board certification/eligibility required (training provided)

Location

Our home office is located in Los Angeles, California, but you can work from anywhere in the U.S. We have relationships with facilities nationwide and are continuously expanding to new locations. You can choose the facilities that work best for you.
