Wound Care Physician

National Wound Physician Group is seeking a part-time Wound Care Physician for a mobile practice in Colorado Springs, CO. This position offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities.

Practice overview

• Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals
• Weekly wound rounds at each facility
• Part-time role: minimum of 3 days per week; full-time role: 4–5 days per week
• Mobile practice: visit facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of practice location
• Visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients per day
• Clinical documentation at point of care, in real-time during rounds, using proprietary wound-specific EMR

Clinical responsibilities

• Become an expert in wound management
• Learn from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors
• Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities

Training

• Physician-level wound management training provided
• Wound fellowship included, giving full knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence
• Paid training during onboarding plus 6-month wound care fellowship

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in Colorado
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week

Schedule

• Full-time: Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm
• Part-time available
• No call / no weekend clinical responsibilities

Compensation

• W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits
• W2 employment contract (no work visa sponsorship available)
