Wound Care Physician

About the Role

Part-time wound care physician position in Minneapolis, MN with a national wound physician group. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities.

Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states, utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. You will become an expert in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors.

Full-time W2 physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits, with a routine 45-hour work week. This role is mobile, with physicians visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location, conducting weekly wound rounds at 2-3 facilities per day and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily.

Clinical documentation is completed at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Responsibilities

• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at assigned facilities.
• Treat approximately 20-30 patients per day across 2-3 facilities.
• Complete clinical documentation in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice (Minnesota).
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week for part-time roles.
• W2 employment contract (no work visa sponsorship is available).

Schedule

• Full-time: Monday–Friday (7 AM–4 PM), 4–5 days per week.
• Part-time: Minimum of 3 days per week (flexible scheduling).
• No call or weekend clinical responsibilities.

Pay

Full-time W2 physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits. Part-time compensation is prorated based on hours worked.
