This part-time position in Warwick, RI provides an opportunity to become an expert in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors. Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities while delivering bedside wound care in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
Full-time W2 physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits, with a routine 45-hour work week. This role offers a mobile practice, visiting 2-3 facilities per day within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is completed in real-time during rounds using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care facilities.
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at assigned facilities.
- Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and wound care modalities.
- Complete clinical documentation at the point of care using a proprietary EMR.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week for part-time roles.
- No work visa sponsorship is available.
Schedule
- No nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities.
- Full-time schedule: Monday - Friday (7 AM - 4 PM), 4-5 days per week.
- Part-time schedule: Minimum of 3 days per week.
