Wound Care/Ostomy Nurse - Full Time

About the role

The role involves providing acute and rehabilitative care for patients with disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems.

Responsibilities

• Promoting patient safety
• Performing wound, skin, and ostomy care
• Making decisions based on policies and procedures
• Working in alignment with organizational mission, values, and standards

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the practice state
• Minimum of 4 years of acute care nursing experience
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred

• Graduate of an accredited Enterostomal Therapy program and certification by the WOCN
