About the role
Coordinate comprehensive wound assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate patient outcomes across diverse populations including neonates, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Responsibilities
- Perform wound management and related therapies
- Educate patients, families, and staff on wound care, pressure-ulcer prevention, dressing choices, and treatment options
- Serve as a clinical resource for physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Requirements
- Nursing degree from an accredited school
- Current RN licensure
- Minimum two years of medical/surgical or rehabilitation nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Preferred certifications: CWOCN or CWCN
Qualifications
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and wound-management principles
- Ability to develop and implement skin-care programs
- Perform nursing duties with appropriate supervision
