Wound Care Nurse - Full Time

About the role

Coordinate comprehensive wound assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate patient outcomes across diverse populations including neonates, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Perform wound management and related therapies
• Educate patients, families, and staff on wound care, pressure-ulcer prevention, dressing choices, and treatment options
• Serve as a clinical resource for physicians and interdisciplinary teams

Requirements

• Nursing degree from an accredited school
• Current RN licensure
• Minimum two years of medical/surgical or rehabilitation nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Preferred certifications: CWOCN or CWCN

Qualifications

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and wound-management principles
• Ability to develop and implement skin-care programs
• Perform nursing duties with appropriate supervision
