Workplace Experience Ambassador

Enhance the event experience for clients and visitors by providing dedicated support during onsite events, including setup, coordination, and hospitality to create memorable experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Facilities Management and other teams to ensure flawless event execution.
  • Support equipment and furniture arrangements according to event specifications.
  • Identify and escalate potential security risks or privacy concerns.
  • Participate in the company’s Crisis Response Team to guide clients and guests in emergencies.
  • Provide a warm, professional welcome to all event attendees, setting a positive tone.
  • Offer personalized services during events, such as catering to specific guest needs and managing special requests.
  • Engage proactively with attendees to ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
  • Monitor event proceedings to address and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure all event-related setups are completed on time and meet client expectations.
  • Handle last-minute adjustments to event plans, including changes in layout, timing, or services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least three years of prior experience in event support, hospitality, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Strong ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Technical/computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, digital ticketing, and conference room scheduling programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of customer service and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when required.
  • Ability to lift or move heavy items up to 40 lbs. as needed for event setups.
  • Active role requiring significant standing, walking, and moving around during events.
  • Fine and/or gross motor skills, including the ability to grasp, lift, and/or carry or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 60 lbs.
  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating office machinery (phone, copy machines, binding equipment, etc.).

Pay

Pay Range: $26 - $28 USD per hour.

Schedule

Hours vary dependent on events schedule. Overtime rate will be paid according to California state law.
