Our platform is built from the ground up, operating at scale across Azure and AWS, deployed in multiple regions globally, including IL4-compliant environments for the US Government, supporting users in 100+ countries and 30+ languages. Today, Eightfold is at the forefront of agentic AI, delivering intelligent agents that actively drive outcomes across hiring and talent workflows.

Eightfold AI's Talent Intelligence Platform helps the world's largest organizations hire, develop, and retain talent using deep-learning AI grounded in the skills, potential, and career trajectories of billions of professionals. Built and trusted at Fortune 100 scale over the past decade, it is the deepest talent intelligence foundation in the industry.

TalentForge is Eightfold's new business unit enabling enterprises to build their own workforce systems using Eightfold’s talent intelligence platform — the skills graph, APIs, MCPs, and governance built over a decade at Fortune 100 scale. Every engagement begins in a TalentForge Lab and is delivered by a cross-functional pod of workforce-design consultants, forward-deployed engineers, and AI experts.

We are a deeply technical, execution-driven organization that values ownership, collaboration, and high standards. Our engineers, product leaders, and go-to-market teams work closely together to build systems that scale in the real world.

About the Role

The Workforce Transformation Partner Director is the trusted advisor who helps senior leaders see what is possible and owns the journey from first conversation to realized outcome. This role is neither a traditional sales role nor a delivery role. You will own the customer relationship and the commercial outcome for a book of strategic accounts by leading with diagnostic insights rather than a product pitch.

You will engage with CHROs and transformation leaders, reframe their workforce challenges, and prescribe the right motion: a TalentForge Lab to design the future state, followed by Platform, Studio, or Managed services as the outcome dictates. The design and build happen behind you; your focus is on the relationship, diagnosis, and matching customer needs to the right solution.

Responsibilities

  • Own a book of strategic customer accounts as their trusted transformation advisor, building peer-level relationships with CHROs, transformation leaders, and their teams.
  • Lead with inquiry, not product. Run executive conversations to surface workforce challenges and frame engagements around outcomes, not features.
  • Own the commercial health of your accounts, with a primary measure of new-and-expansion outcomes. Lab conversion is the leading indicator; net revenue retention is the health gate.
  • Carry quota and a revenue target, growing the book while ensuring motion discipline: know when an engagement is a Lab, Platform, Studio, or Managed service.
  • Bring customers into the TalentForge Lab to design their future-state workforce, then convert that design into the appropriate motion (Platform, Studio, or Managed).
  • Orchestrate the extended pod — workforce-design consultants, domain experts, and shared platform engineering — around a single account strategy without direct authority.
  • Carry customer patterns back into TalentForge to create reusable design patterns and platform capabilities, avoiding one-off work.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in enterprise sales, management consulting, or strategic-account/transformation leadership, with a consultative, outcome-led motion (not feature-led).
  • Demonstrated track record carrying and delivering against a commercial number (quota, bookings, expansion, retention, or P&L ownership).
  • Proven peer-level relationships with senior client executives (CHRO, C-suite, or transformation leaders) and the executive presence to lead strategy conversations.
  • Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder engagements from first conversation to signed outcome, including originating and qualifying new opportunities.
  • Domain fluency in talent, HR, workforce strategy, or org transformation — enough to ask sharp questions and prescribe the right work, even if you do not deliver the design.
  • Experience orchestrating cross-functional teams to a customer outcome without direct authority.
  • Willingness to travel to customers as engagements require.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Skills

  • Consultative, outcome-led operator: win by asking the right questions and framing outcomes, not by pitching features.
  • Executive presence and relationship capital: build trusted relationships with senior leaders and hold the room in strategy conversations.
  • Commercially accountable: deliver against a number (bookings, expansion, retention, or P&L) without making the customer feel sold to.
  • Motion discipline: know when an engagement is a Lab, Platform, Studio, or Managed service and resist bespoke, custom work.
  • Orchestrator: lead cross-functional pods and drive outcomes without direct authority.

What Success Looks Like in Year One

  • A book of strategic accounts where you are the trusted advisor to senior leadership, with multi-threaded executive relationships.
  • Your blended target delivered: new-and-expansion outcomes met, with Lab conversion at or above 50% into Platform, Studio, or Managed within two quarters.
  • Net revenue retention held or grown across your accounts.
  • A repeatable Lab-first motion: executives brought into design sessions, outcomes framed and agreed, and the right destination motion prescribed.
  • Field patterns fed back to the practice, measurably shortening future engagements.
