Workforce Management Scheduler - Phlebotomy

Responsibilities

  • Imports optimal schedules into the systems and assigns employees to locations/shifts to optimize resources.
  • Manages daily absences and coordinates float coverage to fill uncovered shifts.
  • Codes employee’s absences in Oracle Scheduling/HR systems and tracks individual employee attendance trends for supervisors.
  • Ensures breaks, lunches and training time is appropriately entered into the schedules.
  • Works closely with supervisors/managers on weekday & Saturday rotations to minimize Overtime.
  • Updates supervisor so that they can ensure IOP clients are updated on any staffing changes.
  • Assists in monitoring patient wait times/appointment availability and adjusts available staffing as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Required Work Experience: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge/proficiency of staffing tools, strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Required Travel: Up to 25%
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • Work Requirements: Travel Required

Problem Solving/Decision Making: Assists in monitoring patient wait times/appointment availability and adjusts available staffing as appropriate.
