Workforce Management Scheduler - Phlebotomy
Responsibilities
- Imports optimal schedules into the systems and assigns employees to locations/shifts to optimize resources.
- Manages daily absences and coordinates float coverage to fill uncovered shifts.
- Codes employee’s absences in Oracle Scheduling/HR systems and tracks individual employee attendance trends for supervisors.
- Ensures breaks, lunches and training time is appropriately entered into the schedules.
- Works closely with supervisors/managers on weekday & Saturday rotations to minimize Overtime.
- Updates supervisor so that they can ensure IOP clients are updated on any staffing changes.
- Assists in monitoring patient wait times/appointment availability and adjusts available staffing as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Required Work Experience: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Skills: Strong knowledge/proficiency of staffing tools, strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Required Travel: Up to 25%
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Work Requirements: Travel Required
