Workforce Analytics Reporting Analyst
About the role
Join the U.S. Bank Workforce Analytics team as an HR Reporting Analyst. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating HR reports to support reporting projects that gather and integrate resources and business data. The HR Reporting Analyst will assist in the creation of Workday Reporting – both Custom Reports and templates. You may also train on and support ServiceNow or legacy tool reporting and leverage BI tools like Power BI to tell a story with the data. The person in this position will process requests received through U.S. Bank’s case management system, ServiceNow, and will be a critical partner to the Business Analysts on the Workforce Analytics team by helping with requirements gathering or user acceptance testing (UAT). The role requires the ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Process Workday report requests received through U.S. Bank’s case management system
- Collaborate with business partners to prioritize requests and needs
- Partner with Workforce Business Analysts
- Collaborate with various partners to provide a holistic view of the analysis (e.g., Product Management, HR Business Partners, Risk Management)
- Present data and analysis in a clear and concise manner, enabling the audience to quickly understand results and recommendations to make data-driven decisions
- Ensure all data acquisition, sharing, and results of applied recommendations are compliant with company standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Three or more years of reporting and data analysis experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Workday reporting
- Experience with HR reporting and insights
- MS Excel experience utilizing Pivot Tables, Power Pivots, Charts, Conditional Formatting, creating formulas, prebuilt formulas, V-Lookups, and File Joins
- Experience partnering with Human Resource Professionals regarding their human capital data needs for HR processes (e.g., performance management, engagement survey, succession planning) and overall talent lifecycle (e.g., talent acquisition, terminations, onboarding)
- Experience creating and running reports in Human Capital Management systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle, PeopleSoft, E360) for extracting, collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting results for insights
- Experience developing dashboards in Power BI
- Experience working with relational databases
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to document processes in detail to ensure compliance
- Comfort with ambiguity and the mental agility to quickly adjust and adapt to change
Schedule
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, with an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work remotely for the other days.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $81,515.00 - $95,900.00, based on the primary location. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
